I just
want to say that I have
never driven or ridden
in a better built boat
than yours. I just bought
a 1992, 27 fountain
fever from a gentleman
in Virginia and I have
to say that it was one
of my better decisions.
I was a little skeptical
about going to look
at such an old boat
considering that many
of the boats I had looked
at previously (non-fountains)
were in poor condition
given very shoddy construction.
Needless to say I was
amazed at the quality
of workmanship and the
level of detail that
went into the design
and manufacture.
I have
driven and or owned
Checkmates, Bajas, Scarabs,
Warlocks, and Velocities
but none can compare
to the fit and finish
of a fountain. The same
can be said about the
ride. No v-hull can
match the fountains
planning and re-entry
characteristics. The
boat is solid. I drive
hard and I cant
find a stress crack
or any other crack in
this boats hull
and we are talking about
a thirteen year old
boat. I think Reggie
has found a customer
for life. Im already
thinking about my next
fountain but I cant
decide if I want a 29
footer or a 32 footer.
I guess Ill have
to let my wife make
that decision.
Thanks
Fountain for the awesome
memories,
Troy Graham
